Wo ajnabi tou tha magar apna bohot laga
Rotha hoa tha, has tou para mujh ko dekh ker
Mujh ko tou is kadar bhi dilasa bohot laga
Sehra mein jo jee raha tha darya dilli ke saath
Dekha jo ghour se tou wo pyasa bohot laga
Wo jis ke dum kadam se theen basti mein ronakain
Basti ujar gai tou akela bohot laga
Lipta hoa ho kohar mein jaisay khizan ka chaand
Maele libas main bhi wo pyara bohot laga
Resham pehan ker bhi meri keemat na bhar saki
Khadar bhi us ke jism pe mehnga bohot laga
Moshin jab Aayene pe meri sans jam gai
